I.C.A.T. – Integrating Communications, Assessment and Tactics Train-the Trainer course. Course will be held at the Orange County Fire Training Center.

ICAT is an evidence-based program that provides officers with innovative use of force and de-escalation training tactics to safely defuse a range of critical incidents.  This training focuses on situations involving persons in crisis and those who are either unarmed or armed with weapons other than firearms. The training program is delivered by certified instructors and role play exercises emphasizing scenario-based exercises combined with classroom lecture and case studies.

After completion of the Train-the-Trainer instruction, the course will then be taught by the certified trainers, to other Association member agencies, on dates to be decided.

45 registrations is the cap for this course.
