Radar/Lidar Operators Course February 24-27 2026

2/24/26 Day one – Classroom

2/25/26 Day two – Start the day in the classroom. 11:30 classroom portion is complete. Officers shall return to their agency and be partnered with a certified RADAR officer with a RADAR unit. The remainder of the day officers will conduct speed estimates with the certified officer. Agencies may also make arrangements with another agency to share resources

2/26/26 Day three – Speed estimates in your jurisdiction/at your agency. Officers should be partnered with a certified RADAR officer with a RADAR unit to do speed estimates. Agencies may also make arrangements with another agency to share resources

2/27/26 Day four – Classroom

Course is free for Association member agencies, $375 for non-member agencies and Non-Assessment paying members . Class will be with Recruit class 02-25.  Proper business casual  attire is required.
