The Police Officer NYPD Conversion Course will be run concurrent with the Basic Course for Police. County Route 78, Middletown, N.Y. 10940. Course cost is $1000.00 for Non-Association members. Officers will begin their Conversion course with required classroom blocks of instruction. Those dates are not yet set but are anticipated to begin late May- October 2025. Basic Course for Police start date will be 05/05/25.

The NYPD Conversion Course is for former NYPD officers who attended the NYPD academy on or after 10/16/21.

Please see the link below for the Basic Course Registration packet. Only pages 1-3 need to be completed for NYPD Conversion candidates. Dress code is business casual or BDU with polo shirt.
