Police Officer NYPD Conversion Course

The Police Officer NYPD Conversion Course will be run concurrent with the Basic Course for Police. County Route 78, Middletown, N.Y. 10940. Course cost is $1000. Officers will begin their Conversion course with required classroom blocks of instruction. Those dates are not yet set but are anticipated to begin late April to May 2024. Basic Course for Police start date will be 3/4/24.

The NYPD Conversion Course is for former NYPD officers who attended the NYPD academy on or after 10/16/21.

Please see the link below for the Basic Course Registration packet. Only pages 1-3 need to be completed for NYPD ConversionĀ  candidates. Dress code is business casual or BDU with polo shirt.
