Enrollment: To enroll in the course, students must provide copy of recent (within 30 days) medical evaluation on or before the first day of training. This must include a statement from a physician, physician’s assistant, or nurse practitioner that the student can be expected to perform strenuous physical activity

Course is free for Association/Assessment paying member agencies, $500 for non-member/Non-Assessment paying agencies

Course cap is 25 students total, five per agency total

 Course Requirements, students:

1. Must be a current MPTC instructor certification, or eligible for certification at the time of enrollment

2. Must be a police or peace officer

3. Provide acceptable proof of holding current CPR or AED certification

4. One the first day of class demonstrate the ability to perform the fitness test battery at the 70th percentile – see attachment below. Those that can not pass the screening will be sent back to their command and disenrolled from the class.
