SRO Legal Update Training (3 Hours) 0830-1130

This three-hour training, presented by members of the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, is designed specifically for School Resource Officers (SROs). The course will cover recent and relevant legal updates impacting SROs in the field. Topics include the legal distinctions between Juvenile Offenders and Juvenile Delinquents, as well as a comprehensive review of pre- and post-arrest detention procedures involving juveniles. This training will ensure that SROs are current on applicable laws and best practices in handling juvenile-related incidents within the school setting.

Dress Code: Uniform or Business casual

Fee: Free for Assessment paying members, $100 for non-members or non-assessment paying members
