Driving Simulator training

3/01/24, 393 County Route 78, Middletown NY 0800-1130

The driving simulator will present the student with scenarios that will emphasize the need for safety and keen observational skills while on simple patrol, when responding to calls, and in high stress and pursuit situations.

There will be four sessions 2/29 8-11:30, 2/29 12:30-4, 3/1 8-11:30 and 3/1 12:30-4. This announcement is for the 3/1 12:30p class.

Course is free for Association member agencies, $75 for non-member agencies.

*NOTE* The driving simulator can cause nausea for some individuals. It is recommended that students bring peppermints or a ginger product (ginger ale, ginger snaps) as they tend to alleviate nausea.
