Course is designed for seasoned officers and supervisors with emphasis on: Brief review of functions and roles of police/law enforcement, including: Officer safety, Primary functions, Police role, Survivor-Centered Services, Domestic incident vs. Domestic violence, “6 Core Principles” for law enforcement response, Applicable NYS Criminal Charges, Review of 2020 DIR Changes, Officer Involved Domestic Incidents.

Registration will be capped at 22.

Registration cap per agency may be necessary depending on number of registrations received.

Course is free.
