DCJS AEROSOL RESTRAINT INSTRUCTOR COURSE

Course is free for Association/Assessment paying member agencies, $300 for non-member/Non-Assessment paying member agencies
Course cap is 15 students total, 3 per agency total
*****************Note: Student exposure to OC is mandatory to qualify for instructor certification.*****************************
Students who successfully complete this course will receive DCJS certification as an ASR Instructor.
Prerequisites
- Full time, active duty NYS police or peace officer;
- Completion of an Initial ASR program (MPTC or DoC);
- DCJS General Topics Instructor certification.
Required Attire and/or Equipment

- Polo style shirt
- Physical fitness training attire for practical application day

- Three (3) inert OC units of the type carried by the trainee
- Duty belt
