Police Officer Refresher Course 2026

The Police Officer Refresher Course will be run concurrent with the Basic Course for Police, start date for the Basic Course Class 01-26. Course cost is $1500 for non-assessment paying members. Start date for refresher officers will be dependent on results of the written proficiency exam, as noted in the next paragraph.

There are proficiency portions of the course, and there are mandatory classes during the course. Candidates will be required to take and pass a written proficiency exam prior to the start of any mandatory classes. The exam covers PL, CPL, VTL,  Juvenile Law, etc. Candidates will also be required to pass proficiency exam in EVOC, which will be scheduled at various points during the course.

Mandatory classes will be attended with recruits. Failure of any portion of written exams will mean that candidates must attend those blocks of instruction with recruits.
