Basic Course for Police, Class 01-24 start date is March 4, 2024.

393 County Route 78, Middletown, N.Y. 10940. Course cost is $2000 for Orange County agencies, $2500 for out of county agencies.

Basic Course registration, Medical form, PT form and Background Investigation certification must be received by 02/21/24. They can be mailed, emailed or hand delivered.

*NOTE* Course is for Police Officers who have been hired by a law enforcement agency. This is not a Police Pre-Employment Course.

Regarding ammunition requirements: Rifle and shotgun rounds will not be needed until the Patrol Rifle Course portion is conducted. Agencies will be advised in advance.
